In late 2020, Blak & Blue Dance Project hosted a fundraising series titled “Backyard Brentwood.” BBDP transformed the parking lot at MNR Dance Factory into a welcoming and socially-distanced space for outdoor movie nights. Each “Backyard Brentwood” event featured a different film and was held in benefit of one of BBDP’s nonprofit partners. The Halloween movie night offered a special surprise for its attendees: a personal video of the movie’s star, Jamie Lee Curtis, introducing the evening!

The “Backyard Brentwood” events were catered by Pecorino Restaurant. Parking and Security were provided by Tae Ryong Taekwondo School (Brentwood) and Inter Parking service, Inc.
